There comes a time in everybody’s life when we feel lonely and isolated in this world. An experience in my life was when my beloved mother passed away. I strongly believe that the loss of our loved ones enhances our remembrance to Allah (SWT) to re-assess what is important in our lives and stimulates us to create new ways for ourselves.
Late Shamim Mahmood FOUNDER
My visit to the Lahore Orphanage and the our schools in October 2008 really opened my eyes to the reality that exists in this world; a reality that is diluted by the TV as we watch scenes of despair and pathos, while we sit in the comfort of our homes with our families. You just cannot imagine what it’s like until you go there.
